On January 20, 2017, the Group Chairman Pan Liang, accompanied by Mr. TB Ai Khanna Jerzy, the State Minister for Land and Resources of Sri Lanka and Doctor Pauleta, the former Sri Lanka Ambassador to United Nations, held a meeting with Mr. Karunatilaka, the Minister for Parliamentary Reform as well as Minister for Mass Media in the Conference Hall of Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

The two sides exchanged their ideas on bilateral investment cooperation in tourism, culture and other fields of Sri Lanka. Chairman Pan Liang believed that Sri Lanka has a long history and unique environmental advantages, thus it should attach importance to develop culture & tourism industries, to attract more foreigners to Sri Lanka to experience its culture and travel here, thereby increase its national income in foreign exchange and solve the employment problem of the people.

Minister Karunatilaka spoke highly of the international vision and development perspective of President Pan Liang, and expressed the willingness to cooperate with Hairong Group in tourism, media and other fields and the hope for more Chinese people coming to Sri Lanka for tourism, study and investment.
