On October 26, 2017 with the invitation of Mr. Bandura, the Sri Lankan partner, a team led by Chairman Pan Liang paid a visit to Panbil Group in Batam, Indonesia. Panbil Group is the largest developer of industrial parks and real estates in Batam, Indonesia. Panbil has a 200-hectare industrial park with world-renowned brands like Samsung, Philips, etc. Meanwhile, inside the industrial park there are shopping malls, office buildings, hotels, residential houses, villa clusters and financial companies.

Panbil Group arranged the project site survey and the project briefing meeting during the two-day visit of the team led by Chairman Pan Liang and introduced a number of practical, feasible, large-scale projects of great geopolitical significance. These projects, first, will significantly enhance Indonesia’s national competitiveness and meanwhile they are quite significant as a response to the call of the Belt and Road initiative of our country. In particular, the development of shipping, ports, logistics, industrial parks and other projects in the Strait of Malacca will greatly improve the strengths of China’s maritime transport.

In the meeting with Mr. Kennedy, Chairman of Panbil Group, first Chairman Pan Liang briefed Panbil about the achievements Hairong Group made in China and around the world, especially the frutiful results in Sri Lanka, and also extended thanks to Mr. Bandura, Hairong’s partner for arranging the trip. Hairong Group has always had a global vision, not subject to regional and political constraints, and hopes to develop together with all countries in the world for win-win cooperation. Hairong has made satisfactory achievements in Sri Lanka and gained great attention from the Sri Lankan government. We hope this successful pattern can also be copied to Indonesia. At the meeting Mr. Pan also thanked Panbil Group for its meticulous arrangements for the trip and expressed keen interest in the projects provided by Panbil in the hope of deepening the understanding of these projects and signing a memorandum of cooperation with Panbil Group as soon as possible and collaborating with Chinese high-quality enterprises to come to Indonesia for related projects.

Chairman Kennedy expressed that it’s his honor and gratitude for Chairman Pan Liang to choose Panbil Group in his first visit to Indonesia. He introduced that Panbil achieved considerable success in the field of commercial real estate development and industrial parks in Batam and Panbil had good resources in the government, lands and capital. He was looking forward to launching a powerful alliance with such equally capable Chinese enterprises as Hairong to jointly build a new Batam that is prosperous in logistics, strong in the industry and booming in tourism.
