Hairong Group invited Minister of Land and Resources of Sri Lanka, Mr. Akanayaka and former Sri Lanka’s ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Pauleta to visit Hairong Group

In mid – July 2017, at the invitation of Hairong Group, the Minister of Land and Resources of Sri Lanka, his excellency TB Akanayaka and former Sri Lanka’s ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Pauleta visited Hairong Group. Under the organization of Chairman Pan Liang,  Hairong Group held a warm reception for the two leaders to visit and have a discussion in the headquarter of Hairong Group.

 During the 7-day trip, accompanied by Chairman Pan Liang, the Minister and Dr. Pauleta conducted economic survey on and cultural exchange with China which proved to be quite fruitful.

As a famous Theravada Buddhist country, Sri Lanka attaches great importance to cultural exchanges with other Buddhist countries in the world. Therefore, under thoughtful arrangements of Chairman Pan Liang, the two leaders from Sri Lanka visited Hangzhou Lingyin Temple and Shaolin Temple, where they met with the most reverend abbot Shi Guangquan and Shi Yongxin. The two leaders expressed their expectations of strengthening cultural exchange between the two countries through Buddhist culture, promoting communications between the people of the two countries and improving the friendship between the two peoples.

In the meantime, Chairman Pan arranged the visit to representative industries in China including Yiwu small commodity town. The Minister and Dr. Pauleta marveled at the scale of the commodity town. They further expressed their hope that Chairman Pan and Hairong Group could replicate this model into Sri Lanka, turning Sri Lanka into a new logistics distribution center for small commodities in South Asia.

The two leaders’ trip in China came to a successful conclusion. At parting, they expressed their gratitude to Chairman Pan’s arrangements, their deep impression of China’s rapid economic development and their appreciation of the results achieved by Hairong Group in China. In response, Chairman Pan Liang explained his hope that through this trip to China and wiht the words of the two leaders, we could promote and introduce China to Sri Lanka as well as bring the advanced development concepts and development modes back to Sri Lanka. Hairong Group will continue to reproduce the successful experience of China into Sri Lanka, introduce quality enterprises from China to Sri Lanka for the development of local economy, and promote the cultural exchange and economic cooperation between the two countries.
